Yeh, not a bad result you got there, i trust you followed the tutorial carefully, and also pleas dont use www.megaupload.com again, it takes like a minute for you to wait before you can download it, if you use something like
www.photobucket.com
You have to register on that one, but you get a little album etc.
www.imageshack.us
Thats in my opinion the best one, and both of them, when you view them, you dont have to wait to see it, and you dont have to download it _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk

I downloaded the pic, but then I didn't see it.
Are you asking about contact flashes with the lightsabers? There are a number of ways to do this. These usually look bad on still images, though--only use them in video, generally. _________________ Interested in showcasing your special effects or learning some new ones from the masters? Well, I'd suggest this method. Use the Lens Flare filter as a starting point (on a black layer set to Screen or Linear Dodge), and of course use Radial Blur to get rid of artifacts. Use Hue and Saturation (or Image>Adjustments>Gradient Map) to give the flash a golden color. Now create a new layer, and ctrl-click the gap between it and the flash layer. Fill the new layer with black and set its blending mode to Color Dodge. Now use the Gradient tool to create a reflected white-to-black horizontal gradient on the new layer. The contact flash should appear to flare out to the sides. Use Levels to adjust both layers appropriately.
However, this is only one of many ways to do this. Experiment with creating your own methods, and always strive for high-quality results. _________________ Interested in showcasing your special effects or learning some new ones from the masters? Check out PSFX! |
