Hello,

I recently switched machines and lost a font I was using. It is AvenidaLetPlain. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could download that font, or a similar one.

I've attached a file that shows the font I'm after.

Yeh, there is lots of sites with free fonts,

www.1001freefonts.com
www.dafont.com

they in my opinnion are the two best, with www.dafont.com having a good script which lets you try the font out, so you can see what the font would look like with your text, so if you wanted the font with a logo called Xcalibur systems (just an example) you could put in that text, and it would display the fonts with the words Xcalibur systems

yeh,so there is loads fo free fonts sites, no doubt about it, but that font costs money.

im guessing it will be in a you can either extract it from the .zip file its in to:

C:\WINDOWS\Fonts

or

copy and paste the fonts into the fonts section located under Control Panel, and then fonts, make sure your control panel is in classic view though if youd like to do the second option though

Don't extract it stright to fonts, there might be other files in it (sometimes a read me etc) and when I have downloaded TTF fonts they have to be extracted to desktop first, there they change from something else to TTF, I don't know why. and it's probably worth virus scanning the file before you open it just in case.

Copy and paste the TTF to Windows/fonts (sometimes these files are hidden, when you open windows it will ask you are you sure you want to open these files, click yes, it wont hurt anything) Wayne

It doesnt matter if you have a readme there, cos it will go in, but it wont read it from fonts and auto delete it - well mine does anyway lol, and you dont need to extract ti to desktop, just open it up in winzip or winrar, and then click extract to. .. and select

C:\WINDOWS\Fonts
