has anyone noticed that when you have a website with a #a1a1a1 background (for example), then fill a png image with #a1a1a1, the color of the image is slightly different to the color of the background? this only happens in ie, it's fine in ff. |

I have definately noticed that. I think I solved it by using a gif. I don't know of any fix. I too now use firefox and don't really mind. If it's going online though, you have to understand that IE is very popular and it will be noticed a lot. _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |

I have a script to fix transparencies in IE of PNG objects that may also fix this bug. I'll see if I can locate it. Hopefully IE 7 will have much better PNG support because from a graphics point of view there is no reason to use gifs for transparencies anymore save for the incompatibility issues. |
