right theres something wrong. when i go to change the colour in the pallette it will not change. well it does change but it only goes to a different shade of black - grey or white. its like its in black and white mode.
any ideas please?

I'm guessing a small issue. Check to see if you are in Quick Mask Mode (icons just below foreground/background in your Tool bar.) |

QM's a good idea. Also make sure you're not on a layer mask.
I'm betting, though that your image is just in a wierd mode, probably Indexed colour. Go to image > mode > RGB. (not sure that's actually how you change mode back 'cause I can't get to PS right now. Can anyone confirm?) _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |
