Well, I meant I might make this entry in a larger format that wouldn't qualify for this contest. I'd still post it, most likely. Just not on this thread.
That being said, I've just been working on the aforementioned sig, and I think the smaller size will work. It's just a little cramped. I probably won't have time for an Entry 3...this current one's gonna require some serious detail work...

IM gonna mkae my entry 3, maybe tomorrow, or the next day, as im leaving t go to a LAN party in about 20 mins, thought id wake up early and get some posting in!
As far as my second entry, the explosion in the bottom right was made from scratch, whereas the starfield was partly from a tutorial on these forums from shadow, and part small sparkle brushing, and then the planet was brushed, and then i added effect etc using blending modes _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk

Interesting...very well executed, as usual, although I'm personally not too fond of the colors. Very nice job, nevertheless.

Please do recruit more...it's not like we don't trust you to make a good choice, but it's inevitable that when any one person has to do all the judging, personal preferences come heavily into play. Ideally, a larger group of judges' decisions average out in favor of the best concepts and the best execution.
