I think you should find a way of making the text a bit more readable. the text on the left maybe could use a darker glow around it to bring the white text forward.
the orange text I found hard to read because it is a bit small.

I like it alot, its good work for your first day of photoshop, i agree with Gallo about the text on the left, but to me, the text in the middle at the bottom is perfectly readble and i quite like it
