Can someone please tell me - how do i draw a square or circle where the line of the object is a certain color, as opposed to the 'fill' or inside of the object.
also is there a way to determine the exact size of a shape before drawing it ie - i want to draw a square of certain mesaurements using the rectangle tool - how do i do this?
thank you. |

First off, make your square or circle filled with the colour you want. then, right-click on the layer in the layer palette, and go to blending options. At the bottom left of the pop-up is a thing that says stroke. From there it's pretty self-explanatory.
if you wish to make a square of a certain size:
When you select the marquee tool, you have a stuyle option of normal, fixed aspect, or fixed size. Go to fixed size and type it in. _________________ brush your hair and comb your teeth |

Well, you can either change the size of the red line surrounding your square, by editing the size slider, on the stroke dialog box, and you can edit the colour of the red line, by double clicking the box with the current colour in it, just below the size slider thing, double click that and select your new colour, and then click apply and ok _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk

You can also try the following:
pick the Req.Marquee tool...If you want a perfect square hold down the shift key while you make the square, if not..don't.
The right click and pick stroke. Pick the size and color of the stroke.
now chose the Move Tool to correct the size...as you move the sides the dimensions are quoted on the above bar.
