Hey guys. I've had this problem for quite a while. Perhaps it's always been this way, but...after I change a layer's blending mode, the menu remains selected. If I try, for instance, to use my arrow keys to nudge a layer, I end up switching blending modes. I know that hitting escape deselects the menu, but I'm wondering if there's a way to avoid this problem altogether. Does this normally happen? Thanks!

I was just browsing through the shortcut keys options, to see if I could set a keyboard shortcut for the two or three blend moes I use most often. I didn't see anything helpful. (cs2) You may jusy have to press escape. hitting a tool keyboard shortcut should deselect it too.

No, it's not normal. You can avoid using the layer blending mode menu altogether by using Shift+Plus or Minus keys to scroll up and down menu.
But, you are running PS6 Datameister? Is that right? Don't know if that applies.

Well, I was running PS6 up until the day before yesterday. I am now the proud owner of Photoshop CS2. Big Grin I have the same problem with CS2. But yeah, I guess I'll just keep using Esc to deselect the menu. I don't really care for the blending mode keyboard shortcuts, although I'm a HUGE fan of keyboard shortcuts. Anyone else have suggestions?
