Closing windows in the back closes front window in CS2

Hello, I work with many images at the same time and sometimes I like to close the images behind the image I'm working on. When I do that in CS2, the current image I'm working on closes. Is this a bug or a setting I can fix? Thanks in advance. I don't have this problem with any previous version of photoshop.
