OH, and the background is supposed to be transparent, but for some reason, even uploaded as a png. it gives it a blue background

Yes, sorry, it was the monitor i was viewing it on for some reason made the background of the .png blue, tried it on my normal monitor and its fine, i made the girl infront of the background, becuase i wanteed to show as much of her as i can, when i get home, ill show you what its like as you suggested def1 and we can see which is better,

it's good, very basic but yet nice, i think you should add some brushes and stuff to the background.
