Right, my clan and i are in the middle of making a website right? we are going for a chrome effect something like this:

I have made the buttons but is the thing that goes over the buttons, and that the buttons fit into made on photoshop? is it another file, transparent background and fits over the top of the buttons or underneath? u must know what i mean, or is it not done in photoshop at all? pleease please help people, this is vital

It sounds to me like your asking about a rollover. A rollover is an image that changes when you move your cursor over it.

As for the "skin" thing, I don't know. Most graphically intense website UI designs ar made in photoshop and then sliced for ecport to tables. photoshop will automatically export your slices to tables.
