Couldn't do strap because there were a couple of problems so I didn't bother.
Both made using tutorials... |

Like the mp3 player, and the watch is ok, but as they were both done using tutorials, it doesnt really show you skill on photoshop, just someone elses, and you ability to follow instructions, nice nevertheless though! _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk

Yeah I get what you mean, but I've learnt a lot of new things/techniques following the tutorials, so hopefully I can apply them to my own projects. |

Oh well, of course, thats how i learned how to do pretty much everything i know in photoshop, but what i mean is, you cant call something followed EXACTLY from a tutorial your own work, but you can if u only used the technique _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk

Yes I know I wouldn't call it my own work (which is why I was sure to say they were from tutorials), just posting them here because I'm only a begginer at photoshop (well except for sig making) and although following tutorials is fairly easy it still requires a thorough knowledge of the program (and of course they don't tell you everything you need to do in detail) which makes it harder for someone like me whos just starting off.
Anyway thanks for the comments.
I might try to replicate my mobile phone next, which would be a proper challenge. |

Well, it isn't completely accurate to what my phone looks like, the body shape is hard because I haven't had much practice at the pen tool and my mobile is very curvy
Also the scale is wrong, the height is too long but I only took note of this halfway through so I couldn't change it.
And I know the motorola (sp?) logo doesn't look anything like that but I wasn't prepared to take the time to draw it accurately by hand. |

I think they look great well done!!
The MP3 looks a little bigger on the right hand side making it look slightly curved up but that is the only critisism I can make.
Now your next challenge will be to design your own using the new techniques you have learned. Should be good fun. |

yes, always is, learning stuff from tutorials and then making something of your own, and seeing the end product is always worth it! _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk
