I just read in another topic that if you hold the shift down while using the stamp tool you can go in a straight line up and down. (if only I knew!)
That's a big problem for me., I'll use the lasso or other tool and then I don't know what to do with it, it just flashes at me. Is there somewhere I can turn to for these basics? What to do after I select?
I appreciate the help.

For beginners: I’d start with Adobe Photoshop Classroom in a Book.
Do all the exercises. A little dry, but it will give you the basics. |

Just jumping the gun, got kind of excited playing around with Photoshop since it's new. I had ordered a book (Teach Yourself Visually) last night I read quite a bit and already things are starting to make sense. More reading and practice for me. Next time I post, I'll be a bit more educated. |
