I am having a big problem, I am trying to create a signature(I hope you can see this) I created a animation gif on my logo but what i want is the light to gleam and scroll off the letters, not look like some bar going acroos the screen.
Second Problem
The second problem i am having is tryin to put that animation on the sig. which is the Doom monster you see below, which for the life of me can't do. Could someone please help, it would be greatly apppreciated. Thank you. Plus i just want the word and the animation on the sig. not the black background. I know its a lot and i really appreciate it

I would assume that text layer is a flat color with layer styles applied. Here's what you need to do. First of all, alt-click on the line between the gleam layer and the text layer. The gleam should become grouped to the text and only appear over the text. Then play with blending modes and Levels to produce the desired effect.
Hope this helps, and good luck.

Well I tried that in image ready and photoshop and all that did was make the entire gradient disappear.

Duplicate the text layer. On the lower text layer, remove styles and fill with white. Rasterize thu upper text layer and blend out the white using blending options. Put the geam between the two text leyers.
