Lovely as can be!
I would suggest starting with a larger image and then scaling it down once you're finished. While creating images like these, be sure to consider what you're doing--does it make sense physically, three-dimensionally? For instance, I see the skull layer extends up over part of the hat. Things like this can break down the illusion, because it becomes evident that the image is composed of multiple layers. Also, I'd pay attention to the normal skin areas. I'd imagine a "real" zombie's skin would be desiccated, shriveled, and overall pretty gross, whereas the flesh in this image seems completely healthy, except for the greenish tint.
Here I go again, rambling with nitpicky suggestions. Overall, you've done a good job. I guess I'm just trying to say--work on integrating your source images together into a seamless, convincing whole. That's the key to good image splicing.
Wow, I'm taking this way too seriously. _________________ Interested in showcasing your special effects or learning some new ones from the masters? Check out PSFX! |

Ted it's my first self portrait, lol
Datameister I am working on the skin and think I am getting a bit better. I also cut up the skull and tried to place it a bit more strategically and removed the distracting background for the moment. So it now looks like this-
How am I doing? I am a bit scared of over doing it.
Here is the original to compare, feel free to zombify me or make me beautiful-
Ok, nearly finished I think....
Somethings still not quite right but I cant put my finger on it |

they are good work, but i tink rather than just having patches of green and some other random patches on the face, cos i think it looks abit messy and out of place, and kind of ruins the whole effect, i think it would be better if the whole face was that greeny skin tone you achieved on the second image on the neck
but thats just my honest opinion _________________ www.jerseyhacker.co.uk
