Hey guys...

I have a problem with some of my tools... every now and then, my smudge tool, blur, dodge, burn and paint-brush tools won't work. I have no idea why, sometimes they just stop, sometimes they work again. And it's not just because of a faulty version, I've installed 7, CS and CS2 (even corel painter) and the same problems happens with them all. Can any one help me?

When that happens:
1: Check the Option Bar for the tool (Mode and Opacity/Flow settings especially)
2: Make sure you don’t have an area selected somewhere else.
3: Make sure you are on the correct layer.
