The first one looks better i think, the colours in the second one look out of place and random lol

I think the second one actually makes more sense because a design/logo shop actually uses colors...

I too like the first one. The two colour layout shows your graphic skills and the Eko's logo is very nice.
The word 'HOME' in the link looks to me as though it has been stretched and that as I see it is a no-no.
I think don't like the bevel on the bottom jigsaw pieces do not add anything to the design and perhaps get rid orlessen the shadow effect on the top pieces.
I think with a bit more work you will have a good looking site.
Bear in mind that your site the best example of your graphic skills that customers will see, so make it the best.

1st one is better, make sure your links are easy to read, and not annoying to read. If the viewer is trying to find what he's looking for, he wont be pleased. Much easier if links were aligned.. or at least in some sort of arrangement.

Looks nice overall, but make sure to use regular text, not text in photoshop for the body.

Edit: Maybe even delete the photoshopped links, so if u wana add more later, you dont have to re-do the layout, which is a pain, trust me :). And instead, use plain text w/ the bg.. etc.

Personally I like it with the colours better.
P.s either change the capital L to lower case or make all your buttons start with a capital letter to keep it consistant.
Once you start putting your content in make sure you have one of your best graphics on display to tempt the customers in :)
