Hello,
Im using CS2 on XP, athlon 3000xp+, 512mb ram, gf 6600gt (no overclock), tons of free hd space.
PS works perfectly, I can resize images, adjust levels run filters etc etc perfectly. When I come to use a brush tool such as clone stamp the computer just restarts without any warning! When I reboot I get an error report suggesting a driver error. The fault is particuarly prevelent when using the quick mask mode.
I have re-installed the program with no luck. I have also run memtest86 and found no errors with my ram. I did originally think it may be my video card but after a 12 hour burn in with 3dmark and the fact that there are no errors in any other programs I am not sure. I have also used sandra to run a burn in test and no errrors! I have also reinstalled my graphics drivers.
Has anybody experienced this? Any help would be greatfully recieved.
Thanks,
Mike |
