Exactly. If you create Color Fill layers with clipping paths, they are completely scalable. You can resize the documents however you like--smaller or bigger, even repeatedly--and no detail or resolution will be lost. These are 100% vector shapes that involve no bitmap techniques. These are very useful for creating logos and such.

I don't know if I can post a PDF in this forum. If I can't, all is for nothin.
I have 2 examples here; 1) an image done in PS at 300ppi and with it, an enlargement. Not my idea of scalability. 2) an Ill version. Enlarge it as much as you want. It maintains it's edge.

I just now read a previous post and I'm going to try it. It probably works (I hope so anyway 'cause if it does, it'll save me alot of work) And if it does, then I apoligize all over the place. And that's what I love about these forums. Always learning something.

No need to apologize. I don't know if it works with PDFs; Photoshop might not be able to solve fully scalable PDFs. But I know that you can use Photoshop's native clipping paths to create scalable vector images.
