hi,

I am currently working on my first web template, and am dividing up a thin bar to make the navigation area.

To indicate where the buttons will be, I have drawn a pencil line.

After duplicating the layer with the line on to make it the same size, how can I make it in line with the other, and a set distance away?

Thanks a bunch

You can use the Measure tool while holding Shift to find the distance you want, create a vertical guide at that distance, and move the line layer to that distance. It should snap into place.
