ok this will be a basic tut, and you can find alot more on pixel2life.com,or even in the tut section here on this forum.

firsdt make a new document, 500by 100 or something like that, im using 500 by 110, cause my render is a little big.

then you want to start brushing it up, do a couple layers of black then a couple layers of white brushes

( when you brush a layer make it inbvisable, then make a new layer to do more brushing, if you are making black brushes make the background white, white brushing make the background black)

this is what i have so far

next we put everything except the bottom layer to soft light, and you can move the layers around a bit

http://img33.echo.cx/img33/8108/29dz.jpg

then we add our render, when you get a render, (if its on a solid color background select the background with the color selectiong thing, inverse selection, and the feather what is now selected.) if not just lasso what you want, then feather it. put this render a couple layters down in your artwork. set it to lumnosity.

next create a couple layer>ne adjustment layer> colorbalance

i made three red, blur, green

i now have this
http://img7.echo.cx/img7/2903/44ag.jpg

next, do filter>render>clouds, and press ctrl+l and slide the bar down a bit
http://img258.echo.cx/img258/4439/52hr.jpg
if the black mountain like things are really close together, re render the clouds, and get somethiong like in the picture.

do this for the other color adjustments
and add name

and ur done. mu comp stoped responding, so i cant show final result

since my comps wiggin out:( here is a background i made withl, i made it the same way as i did this tut
