im not sure if you are having problems actually making the pattern design or if you are having a problem setting it as a pattern. attached is the design you need to make the pattern you will have to unrar it (use winrar can be downloaded for free I cant uplaod a psd file maybe that could be added to the allowed file formats since this is a photoshop forum)

andway here are the steps for both steps

creating the design for the pattern
1. open a new document 12 pixels wide by 6 pixels high
2. zoom in to 1600% zoom
3. get out your rectangular marque tool
4. select either the top left of the bottom right sections, (i used the top right)
5. Select your gradient fill tool
6. reset your colors to black and white (ctrl+d)
7. when starting in the upper left corner go from left to right in the area that you have selected making sure you go from one side to the other completely, this should fill the selected area and it should look like half their image.
8. duplicate your layer
9. go to edit > transform > rotate 180 degrees
10. move it to the bottom right corner and you are done with this step

making the design a pattern
1. click on edit > define pattern
2. give your pattern a name
3. hit ok or enter and you are ready to use
