Hi, folks...

I'm intrigued by a couple of filter sets that get mixed reviews. Has anyone had experience wit SQUIZZ from Human Software??? Looks wonderful but there's no demo and it is a little expensive.

SECOND: how about Mystical Lighting from AFX? The demo looks grand but I wonder how it works in the real world.

Any thoughts??? thanks in advance.

David

I used mystic lighting from time to time.

check out the pic I did there, it's not bad, most of the effects can be recreated in other ways in PS but it is easier. It's biggest drawback is the price, around $140 or so, I bought mine a few years ago, cant remember the price now but it was a lot cheaper then, I don't think I would pay that for it now. Wayne

That's remarkable work, Wayne. Thank you for the reply...and the photo.

Mystical Lighting is $179 USD...which translates into about seventeen million Canadian. But the demo is awfully tempting.

Got....to...hang on....got...to.........resist....

I broke down and bought Mystic Lighting...

It made me go OOOOOOO...and AHHHHHH....but it may have just been gas.

Anyway...some filters are awfully hard to use...I assume because they want to sell their tutorials. But others are...well....WONDERFUL.

so...all together now: OOOOO...AHHHH....for the filters and a resounding OUCH! for the credit card bills

Yes it's a nice bit of kit, shame about the price, try searching the net for free tutorials, there should be a few out there. Wayne
