You need to open up a new document about 3x3 pixels
u then need to get the pen tool and set to one pixel, and draw 3 squares, one in the bottom right, one in the middle, and one in the top of the image, making a diagonal line
then once yyouve done that, go to edit > define pattern and give the pattern the name "scanlines" or whatever you want
then go to your sig, and on the top layer of the sig youve made, go to blending options, and go to pattern overlay, and select the pattern from the list, and your off, and if i doesnt look right at first, change the opaciy and scale, i normally use about 100% scale and about 20% opacity
