I'm a very new Photoshop user who is in desperate need of assistance. This is a very general question...I do not know how to use Photoshop at all! I know it can do very amazing things, I just don't know how to utilize it. I'm working on a t-shirt right now, with Lizzie Borden's face on it, my idea was to blend her face with her house and with an axe. All 3 pictures are seperate, I wanted to blend them together and manipulate the color, is this possible? I also need to know how to go about typing text, just text?
Thanks in advance for any and everyones help.
--I included the picture of her face and the house blended together, that I'm currently working with, just to give you guys an idea...I also have to get the pic of the AXE in there yet, and I need to tweek to color. _________________ FREE THE WEST MEMPHIS 3!! |

A quick answer as I'm just going away for a few days, first make copys of all your pics (image.duplicate) the using the background pic (the house?) leave that open then open the face pic, double click it on the layers palette (to unlock it) then roughly go around the face with the eraser tool,(this should leave a sort of check background) then when you happy with that select the move tool left click on the face and holding left click down drag the face onto the house, next on the layers palette go to opacity and set it for about 50% (or what looks good) and you should have the face superimposed over the house (if the size is wrong go to edit>free transform and drag the corners to fit) if you want to save as a jpeg you will have to flatten the layers (layers>flatten) first. hope that helps a bit.
