The blurred shadow underneath looks a little weird, and I'm not entirely sure why, but it doesn't look quite right regardless of that.

The shadow is awful, I agree. You've got the same thing in one of the sigs you posted. That kind of shadow is a technique I think you should "unlearn." Drop shadows are pretty much always cheesy - to get away with it at all, it had better be done right.

Other than that, the big problem is with the isolation work; you didn't cut out the whole tires. They're both way too thin, particularly the back one. It looks like the car is running on bicycle tires.
