Tip: Delete Multiple Layers in a Snap
Have you ever had a ton of layers that you wanted to get rid of? Well I sure have. Good news. It's really easy to get rid of them.
1) Link all the layers you want to delete.
2) Then click on the sideways triangle in the upper right corner of the layers pallette, and select Delete Linked Layers.
Simple as that! Here's an attachment to show you where the menu is. There's some other cool options in that menu that are well worth exploring, like the New Set From Linked option. Very cool stuff. _________________ Best Regards,

I'm so glad they changed that bull with linked layers, it never made any sense. Click and shift click in CS2, that makes more sense als also the other shortcuts you can use. Finally they changed it. Also since the introduction of layer sets (now called layer groups), I've used linked layers less and less. Sometimes I still use them, they can be useful, but their importance has been highly exaggerated over the last few years. But hey, some old time users never really made the complete switch to layer sets. These are the same people who still think that every selection should be saved in the channels palette, when it makes more sense (there are exceptions!) to save them in a mask. |

erm a mask is in effect saving it in the channels palette, as far as I know (call me an old timer). _________________ If life serves you lemons, make lemonade! |
