|
|
Hello all.
I'm a newbie to photoshop and am TOTALLY impressed with what it can do. For now, I have a simple (I hope) question.
I need to create a star border and have an image fill the star. In other words, I have a photo of a friend that I want in the shape of a star (instead of a square image) so I can put the words "a star is born" under it.
Thanks for your help!

Make sure layer with photograph is not locked, add a path (star shape, path selected in options bar), go to layer/add vector mask/current path, add a new layer underneath for the border color or image:

Ok, I plead ignorance. Where do I find the tool to create the star shape?
Thanks for your patience... :-)
