I'm working an a vector image and I need help.

What I want is to make a path, then have a custom shape (namely, a leaf I made real quick) follow that path around. Kinda like the leaves/ivy on this site, only they don't have to grow.

I think I remember a tutorial somewhere explaining something like this, with squares and the like to make it look like DNA or something, but I couldn't find it, and I'm hoping someone here can help me out.

Thanks!

I know you can stroke a path with a brush. Can you make your custom shape into a brush? If you play around with the Brush Dynamics, you might get a result like that when you stroke a path.
