If i understand correctly you want to call an image, paste it onto something and save the result.
If you make that as an action, you can go to file/automate/batch to do it to all the images.

Hope this helps..

thats exactly what im trying to do, but it just aint that easy it seems. corz whats happnin is im using the same file (lets call it file: template) to paste my 500 images (lets call them files: no1 to no 500) onto rite. thing is i dunno how to save the end file with the original names (eg. file no.1-no.500)..........photoshop is saving the files with the template name as it is the file im pasting onto and therefore the last image used in the actions' process. as a result the saved files are all file no1 pasted onto template instead of 500 individual pics pasted onto template.
btw, the template is a nice frame i made so i really wanna use it for all the images in this series.
is there a way i can order photoshop to save each file with a different name (the original names will do) even though im using the same template ?? thats what i wanna know...........is there a genius (or program) capable of such wizardry??
id love it if anyone knows such things Brow Big Wink

Maybe if you try the reverse? You take the non-template one, enlarge it to fit your template. Paste your template in it and save it. Wouldn't that do the trick?

That's sorta what I was thinking while reading. I dunno for sure but if you make pasting the template over the image the action instead of the other way around, when it saves, it shoul keep the name.

I have no idea if this would work. so there.
