I'm looking to draw a circle and then cloud affect it, but every time i make the cloud affect it does it everything and not the circle.. can i get some help?

Create a new layer.

Fill with your cloud effect.

Press (or shift press if you have it setup that way) M, press until the Eliptical Marquee tool comes up.

Draw a circle on the canvas, constrain to a pefect circle by pressing the Shift key at the same time. Holding Alt key as well will confine the circle to radiating from the centre.

Press keys, Ctrl+Shift+I.

Press Delete.


Probably many easier ways in truth, but it seems like you have the hang of layers and the like so this seems easiest for you to grab.
