Can someone tell me the best way to save a digital image without losing the resolution. I want to save it as a .tif and I need to know if I need to go Image > Image Size > 300 ppi and then do a "save as" and use .tif format. I've read several books and I'm still not clear on exactly how to do this.
Thanks
Lynn

I normally save at original image size tiff files.
If the image was shot at 600 ppi then save at that without up or downsizing
Then any manipulation I save under a new version i.e Picture1 small.jpg or what ever but keeping the existing file as is.
