I'm putting together a site right now and I'm just looking for ways to make my life easer in the future. I want to eliminate redundant steps if at all possible. I'm creating a Nav bar for a website that will include rollover images made in image ready.
Below are the steps I have been taking to accomplish this.
Step 1
With the type tool I type out what words I want…
Example:
"Amenities Entertainment Location Reservations Specials Rates About"
Step 2
I then create a new layer.
Step 3
With both layers selected by links I merge the linked layers. This turns my type into an image.
Step 4
From here I begin to slice the image into separate images. And from this point I am able to make the changes I desire.
I would just like to know if there is an easier way to accomplish this.
Thank you,
-Joe |

Can cut out step 2 & 3 by rasterizing the text layer. _________________ *novice Photochopper*
