I have a completely noob question:
I can't figure out how to make word balloons for comics.
I e-mailed someone I know who does, but his answer was vague...
It involved shapes and the use of the pen tool. I think I know how to make the shape, but the pointy end that you're supposed to use a pen for, I just can't figure out. Can someone help me with the pen, and how you would go about deleting the part of the shape where the pointy end connets so that they look like the word balloons here:
And, btw, I don't know much at all about photoshop, so try to use simple words for my brain plz.
*I do understand layers though * |

Ok, I still have a question after a week of self-loathing.
The thing says:
"One way is by choosing Stroke Path from the Path palette submenu. This will pop up a dialog box that enables you to determine which tool will be used to perform the stroke."
I can't seem to locate "Stroke Path" or the path palette submenu for the matter... I can't really understand anything else until I found out what it is.
Help me... |

stroke path is under the paths tab, righ tclick on path in question to do this action. However, if the bubbles are going to be rectangles, you can just use your rounded rectangle tool+polygon tool (for the tail), with the color white on its own layer and add a Edit->Stroke in black of around 5 pixels (depending on how thick you want your border to be. |
