heyhey!
First post on the forum. I'm not totaly new to Photoshop, but i need help on creating a silhouette from 2 - 3 other photos.. How would i go about this.. what tools would i need to use. If you've ever seen the iPod ads with the silhouettes, thats the kind of look im going for here.

Welcome to the forum Sammeh.
The Pen Tool is the way to go. I hesitate to suggest this option as many see it as a complicated Tool to use, however don't be overawed.
Use F1 to open the Help Menu and explore the programs explanations of the Tool.
Practice, practice etc...

There are many more links out there and if you need to search for Pen Tool Photoshop tutorials.
There may be another way or two to accomplish what you want however. If your photos have your subject against a light background, some kind of channel solution may be achieved. Without seeing the photo's I would not like to make the judgement.
