so a lot of files seem to be missing from my photoshop cs.
the filters arent all there, photomerge is not there. lots of little things.

whats going on? you think this is because i already downloaded it on one of my other computers? is it safeguarding against stealing or something?

any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Click on Help, see if there is an Update option in the drop down menu.

Are the filters not there, or are they just grayed-out?
(on the chance you are working in CMYK or high-res 16 Bit/channel file.)

Where and how did you OBTAIN your copy of Photoshop CS? This sounds to me like it is (and by your recent descriptions in this thread) it is a PIRATED VERSION of PHOTOSHOP CS. Did you download it (free) off of NAPSTER or KaZa or some shady p2p service like that? Because a thing like this has been known to happen before from these "services".
