I'm trying to export my graphic text to Flash MX2004 with a transparent background. The intent to be used within Flash files with various backgrounds. For example, I intend on presenting the same type of logos that you currently see on TV where the background shows through the holes in each of the characters.

Transparant for Flash can best be achieved by saving it as a png.

Yes, I worked great except that the drop shadow did not come across. Is it possible to do this or will I have to work without it?

It can be done if you export the alpha transparency.. See here for more detail on how to do it:

If you load the png now in flash it should work.

Aazumak, you can do by putting this in your htm(l), object tag:

<param name="wmode" value="transparent">

... in the object tag, there are a few html colour codes, you need to change those to the page backgrounds, and then it will work in mozilla, and opera.

Hope this helps?
