Guys
I usually need to reduce the physical dimensions of my photos to print at 6X4 inches. I don't resample which results in a pixel density of 520 ( or so) ppi. I know that this method does not reduce the file size so that file manipulation and printing takes longer than it might.

Is there anything to be gained by re-sampling to say 300 ppi (in terms of the printed image quality) or am I OK as I am.

Thanks

I'd keep them high res. You may at some point want some printed larger than 4 x 6.
