I'm not new to Photoshop, but this one got me puzzled. When I start a new document, I make a background using brushes, cloud effects and such. Then I click on the Font/Text tool, and go onto the graphic (the font is in the new layer) and type something (IE: Sony) and then I attempt to move it and it all goes back to the background layer.

So, another words, I try to move the font and it automatically goes to the background layer.

Any help, please...

Uncheck "Auto Select Layer" in the move tool option bar.
