Is there a way to make a border less than 1 pixel? I'm using PS 6.0. It seems that the border thickness I want is probably about 0.5 pixels.
Thanks |

does anybody at all know? I made the border by making the selection with the rectangular marquee tool then select>modify>border but the only option for border size is minimum 1 pixel and I want thinner. Is there another way to make a border that I can use a smaller value? Thank you. |

As I said in my other post, you are limited to the size of the pixel. They are the building blocks of your image, like ceramic tiles making up a mosaic.
Now, if this is for print (as opposed to web) you can resample the image and double its resolution (ppi) while keeping the print size the same. This will reduce the width of each pixel by half and allow you put thinner one-pixel border around it. |
