|

Here a picture of Einstein I made, with marker and paper, for a T-Shirt I am designing:
http://photobucket.com/albums/v206/samanpwbb/?action=view¤t=Picture1.jpg
I am very inexperienced with photoshop, and I want to touch up my scanned image. Is there any quick and easy way to even up all my lines and clean up my picture? If my only option is to go in and change what I want pixel by pixel, then I think a better technique for me would be to just re-draw it rather than work in a medium I am not as comfortable with. Can photoshop help me?
Any advice is very appreciated. |

Rescan your image, if need be, at a higher resolution (the image you posted is too low res).
Open in PS and use Levels to get image pure black and white. Go Filter>Noise>Median and adjust pixel radius until the lines look smooth. (You may have to do a little more adjusting with Levels afterwards if any gray areas appear from using the Median filter).
Good luck. |

Thanks for the help! I have a pretty high rez scan, the pic here was just a screenshot I took of it real quick because I was too lazy to export it...
You're advice is very appreciated! As soon as I get home I'll give it a try. |
