I'm working on some text. What I want to do is adjust the amount of space between a few of the lines, when I hit return. I don't want it to completely skip a line width. Just maybe, half a line width.
Can anyone help me here?

Get to know your Character Palette. Leading (pronounced "ledding") will do what you want. |

I tried that, but it wanted to change it for the whole paragraph. How would you change it for just a couple of lines within the paragraph?

With the text tool, highlight the lines you want changed. |
