Okay I'm not THAT new to Photoshop but I don't know how to get this to change.

When I use the brush or the pencil or when I stroke paths, this happens;

Brush/Pencil: Unless I go at an exceedingly slow speed, the line of the brushis dotted, instead of flowing.
E.g. Wanted line _______ Line that I get ...............

Paths: When I go to stroke a path, I get the same thing, but when the dots come up they appear on the anchor points.

Please help as this has disabled my use of Photoshop to an ultimate extreme.

Thanks in advance,

I think it's the settings of your brush, more specificly the spacing. Set it to 0 and it will flow.
