So I drew this beautiful line with the pen tool that essentially splits my canvas in half. Now I want to fill half of it with on olor and the other half with another color. How in the world do I do this???  |

use the bucket tool. select the half the canvas, fill it with a color then press, ctrl+shift+i, and then fil the other color |

I seems the most logical, but I tried that and it either fills the entire canvas or won't fill anything depending on what layer it is set to. |

Is the path closed? If so make it either a vector shape or a vector mask. If not, close it.
