Hello all
A friend has just installed adobe photoshop 7 on their p-4 400

it seems to open pics ok and all seems well until you go
start new
then you get an error message
there is not enough memory to complete this operation close apps or adjust memory settings or work on smaller documents
could it be virtual memory or something else
can someone please advise me on this
any advise much appreaciated

What size is the new doc?
Regardless, your friend desperately need more RAM to run Photoshop smoothly. 224 (?) MB of RAM won’t cut it. |

Try this.
open photoshop
go to Edit > Preferences > Plug-ins & Scratch discs
and beside First: it will say Startup, change it to C:\ and hit ok.
Then restart photoshop and if it was Virtual memory it will be fixed _________________ >img resizemod="on" onload="rmw_img_loaded(this)" src="http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/8159/armysig1ek.jpg"> |
