hi guys
i got this image in png format and saved it for web with transparency(checked) and there is no background layer in PS.

However,when i add the pic to html document a greyish background appears.

Look at this attachment.

If you save this to your hard drive and open it with PS ,You will see the background is transparent...

I just want the image without any backgound... Issit possible.

Try viewing it in a browser other than Microsoft IE. For some idiotic reason, MS IE for Windoes does not support PNG.

IE for Mac (!), Netscape, Mozilla/Firefox, Safari, Opera ALL support PNG.

THanks dude for the info.
You are right,seems like IE cant render a transparent background for .PNG format file...(BTW Visual Studio.Net also cant)

Jpeg also cant... Settled for gif instead , worked well
