hey there,

i just got photoshop today, but before that i was using the trial, so i am already pretty familiar with it.
this problem started with the trial version. at first i was able to place several gradients on one layer and make that cool effect. one day, it only made one gradient. i could click several times but only the last gradient showed up.

i thought i would get rid of this problem by buying the software. but i'm stupid and when i deinstalled the trial i kept the user settings... and with that the problem. i have asked this question in another forum, but no-one knew what it could be.

i'm sure its just a setting but i looked all over and cant find it. any ideas why i cant get several gradients to show up??? i really liked that feature!

Check the mode. If it's set to 'Normal', you'll only get one gradient to a layer.

Sorry, I should have said in my first post, set the mode to 'Difference'. That always gives interesting results. :)
