cut photo into pieces

Posted: Wed Mar 02, 2005 5:14 am Post subject: cut photo into pieces

Hello all, I am fairly new to this art and have photoshop 5. I would like to cut up a photo into say 16 same sized pieces and be able to resize each one or a row. Say top row is same and each row below that gets smaller. Is this possible with photoshop and can anyone help? Appreciate any replies..... cheers christian
