Hello
I require some help for the following.
I need a copyright sign (c inside a circle) approximately 200px by 200px, (Arial font for the c). I want it in the style of the current Sky logo, which looks like bevelled transparent glass. The copyright sign has to be transparent bevelled glass and on a transparent background. I am going to be using a mouse over technique on the web page so that when anybody mouses-over any of the images, a second image (transparent copyright) is called in and positioned on top, but still letting the viewer see the image underneath.
I’ve tried several tutorials and still can’t get it to work, and am beginning to think it’s not possible to make, though I am still a novice with Photoshop 7 so perhaps I’m wrong.
So I wondered if any of you experts could give me either of the following.
A clear tutorial on how to make it, or, make it for me. If anybody is doing the second option could you position it in the centre of a 700px by 500px transparent image, this will give me the options of cropping and or scaling it down.
I would be grateful for any help with the above.
hi, i made it for you, but i cant post it up here, it gets all messed up in .gif so i will send you a .psd file, PM me. or you can just follow these simple steps.
1. make a new image, 200x200, checkmark transparent.
2. create a new layer, Shift+Ctrl+N
3. draw your (c) symbol in, however you like, on that layer.
4. in the layers pallete, set Fill to 0%, for layer 1.
5. Double click layer 1. you will get a blending option screen.
6. checkmark bevel/emboss and play with the settings untill you like it.
7. go to Edit>>canva size, make that 700x500
