Lets say i have a advertisement, and theres a hot girl i want as a background. Theres text over her, how do i clear it, without messing up her body?
ive seen it done, just new

hmm...you'll probably want to use the clone stamp tool, and sample from VERY near on the body. thats the best way i know.

i tried and all it did was cut the picture in half, thanks tho

any others?

First of all, you need to make sure you may use the image. Usually when there is text over an image, it means that is copyrighted and as such not yours to use.

that also kind of works, but the thing is, i dont understand how to make a new stamp!

it lets me use one stamp until i close the whole photoshop program.
now i cant even use other tools, they all combine into one (it patches, burns,yadda)

There is a good .pdf and a quicktime Movie on the clone stamp tool at a place called Dvgarage.com It is under the techtv section. You do have to register but it is free.
